Culture Viewfinder Inc was created by curator Esther E Shipman after researching contemporary culture in Portugal on behalf of Tourism Portugal. She has developed a series of exceptional programs in Portugal in collaboration with seasoned cultural travel planning professionals in Portugal and Canada. The programs offer a unique approach to guided travel experiences that embrace and explore each destination through a cultural lens--providing context and one-off experiences via a combination of intimate neighbourhood walking tours, select behind-the-scenes museum experiences, exclusive visits to private studios where acclaimed designers and culture mavens discuss their latest works and projects--all combined with accommodation in atmospheric hotels and fabulous regional cuisine and wine.

 

All tours officially begin in Portugal. Program themes and destination vary, starting in either Lisbon or Porto and radiating outward to include significant sights, museums, studios, cuisine and wine throughout Portugal.   Groups are limited in size (maximum 18 + tour leader(s), to provide the most immersive and intimate experience.
